About

Music in the Park

Our goals are simple

  • Contributing to the entertainment in downtown Manitowish Waters.

  • Create a community event that can be enjoyed by all (locals, tourist, young and old)

  • Give the community something to do on Sunday afternoon, without having to spend any money

Music in the Park is an independently run organization.

MITP is overseen by a three person board; Barry Hopkins (The Pea Patch), Ty Rayala (Great Escapes Technologies), and David Gouwens (Calm Water Solutions).  All donations to Music in the Park are spent on the bands, production, or improvements to Koller Park need to continue to host our event. Any money left after the season will be rolled over to the following season.
