2011 Season is Approaching Quickly
Music In the Park Down Town Manitowish Waters
“Music in the park” kicks off its 4th summer at Koller Park, Sunday June 26th with Brad Emmanuel and the Groove Men. The free outdoor concerts are on Sunday afternoons 4pm-6pm and run until September 11th. The public is welcome and encouraged to bring their own food and beverages. Grills are available. Bring a blanket or folding chair for your comfort. Picnic tables are also available. Come by boat, car, bike or by foot.

July 3rd Hip Pocket, July 10th T.B.A, July 17th Aaron Jay & Foul Play, July 24th Tuck Pence, July 31st Cletus and The Sliders, Aug 7th Brett and Frisk, Aug 14th Groove North, Aug 21st The Frets, Aug 28th T.B.A, Sept 4th Big Road, Sept 11th Brett and Frisk. This year September 11 falls on a Sunday. It also happens to be the 10 year anniversary of the tragic terrorist attacks. In memory of those who were lost and the many policemen and fire fighters who acted bravely, we are teaming up with the Manitowish Waters Fire Company to honor their memory.
The setting is unique, many people choose to watch the concert from their boats, while others grab a seat at one of the many picnic tables. The public response has been fantastic. It is an event where the whole town gathers to enjoy music and celebrate summer in one of the nicest parks you will find anywhere. Henry Bauers, the town crew and town board have done a fantastic job with the park over the years. Manitowish Waters is very fortunate to have our beautiful park system.
Each year area businesses, individuals, organizations and the room tax committee have pledged money to pay for the events.
